Winter hunting over pointing dogs in the mountains: November – 28 February
We can also offer the possibility to hunt grouse on bare mountain in the winter, this is also on private land in Ljungdalsfjällen, Härjedalen county.
You need to be used to ski and be fit, its an extremely demanding form of hunting. And fun! We use skies to get around in the frozen landscape, (just that is an experience worth telling) and we try to get as close to the birds as possible, often as close as 60 meters.
For the shooting we use .22 caliber or .22 magnum rifle.
It´s often not a problem finding the birds, rather a problem spotting them in their natural camouflage.

You can choose to hunt with or without guide in wintertime. In the full board package is renting of skies included, but not the rental of the rifle.
The rental of the rifle is an extra 80 Euro á day.
